    66V Combustion Chamber Variations

Ok, this question is for all you spec tech Guru's out there. I have 2 Yamaha 66V untouched/unrebuilt/stock OEM cylinder heads. On 1 of them the combustion chambers "dome" at the starting edge of the chamber is about 1/8 of an inch larger in diameter than the domes on the other head. The depth is the same but the diameter is different. Wouldn't this result in a different "cc" chamber which would result in different compression psi? 1 is marked 66V and 1 is marked 67X. Small variations on a micrometer is one thing but an 1/8 of an inch is quite a bit of a difference. Does anyone know anything more about these variations in the 66V cylinder head?

Im guessing that not a lot of people are into jet ski's anymore and that a lot of the posts on GH are old. I thought this site would be a bit more responsive.
