    VDO Idle air valve replacment

Has anyone found a aftermarket or automotive equivalent for the VDO idle air valve? This BRP part seems ridiculously expensive.

I would think the mounting holes could be machined out if need be. My guess is the Sea-Doo valve is not proprietary, but a standard automotive valve used in some other application.

The cut on the tip seems slightly different as well but I cant see that being a big issue either. Also the seadoo one seems to be plastic now. Seems cheaper to make, must be why the price went up
