    pro 785 issues

i have a 97 pro 785 and last week got some water in the crank from a loose manifold bolt. i have gotten all the water out and the starter turns the motor over easily. i have spark on all three plugs but i cannot get the darn thing started. all wires seem to be hooked up correctly. the plugs seem to have fuel on them. does anyone have any advice at all?

You can try to pour a little premix in the carbs or down the spark plug holes.
How long has the water been in the crankcase?

the water wasn't in there for more than a few hours. as soon as i got home i started getting it out.

when you got the water in it where you riding it or did you have it hooked to a hose . and if you where riding it how was it running .

i had it at the launch and started it, rode in a few hundred feet and went back to the launch to look in the engine compartment and check all the hoses cause i had just put the motor back together. but it was running fine. everything is back together now and sounds alright, i just can't get it to actually run.

How did you get all the water out? Did you fog it good after you removed the water? Salt or fresh?

unfortunately it was salt water. i took the cylinders off and cleaned the crank out with gas five or six times and then fogged it. i'm gonna go try to put some premix in the plug holes right now and give it a try.

Smart Move you dont want to fork out more money for another crank.
