Will SHO or FZR gauges work with an FZS setup?
starting to plan a conversion for an SUV using an 09 FZS donor. The FZS gauges will probably not be the answer that I am looking forconsidering the mounting area available.it is something that I can work around with a lot of customfabrication however if my motor and electronics will plug and play with gauges from a different ski with full functionthen maybe I will just sell them and by gauges that will fit easier. does anyone happen to have a fzr or sho gauge cluster currently removed that they can post pictures of all of the connectors?
This is the FZS gauge cluster mounted on an SUV bare hull that a buddy gave me for practice mock-ups. The left and right side wings on it far exceed the surface area. I'm also wondering if the individual round left and right gauges can be removed to just simply piece this together in the stock void. Thinking I could just fill in the factory faceplate void with fiberglass, sand, paint and then cut to fit the 2 round gauges and the rectangular one as needed.

The fzr and fzs gauges are exactly the same.

Aaah, I should have said, are there any flat mount type digital gauges that would control everything on an FZS? Obviously the fit is different...but they are going into a different ski.
