honda 12 x running great now nothing

My first post on the Honda side, I have a friend from Galveston that has a 12 x that was just serviced and it was running great, the guy pulled up to the dock and turned it off and now dead,

he turns the key and no crank, nothing, I heard a faint beep but that was it, pulled battery charged good back in and still nothing,

    any ideas?

I am going to have him jump across the solenoid and also look into the main relay going bad,

The main relay box is what it sounds like , when they go bad they prevent the engine from cranking but you will see the dash turn on and nothing happens when you press the start.
