Thumbs up 2015 FX SVHO - New Ride

I bought a 2015 FX SVHO yesterday and took it to the lake to break it in today. 100% stock, I saw 73-74 on the speedo for 20 seconds after a 2 hour break in period. I thought these skis did about 68 stock. I guess I was wrong. Compared to the 2013 FXHO that I previously rode a few times before waiting for the 2015s to come out, I am so stoked I waited. I ordered the Riva Ribbon Delete part for now. Will be looking for more mods in the future, but since I got one of the earliest skis, not many have done much testing I assume. Will be open to most mods except the expensive Turbo for now.

    Testing 9/13/14
    Lake Elsinore, CA
    Sea Level
    Air Temp 95
    Water Temp Unknown but warm

Also is a GPS speed more accurate?

Yes it has the ride system. Although didn't use it much yet, as I wanted to get the motor broken in properly. Plan to use it a little more on Tuesday when I do an offshore run. I will see what I can get the GPS to read in the ocean.

Followed the manual and what the guys at Yamaha Watercraft said to do for the break in period. Logged 2.2 hours breaking it in. Then let it cool down for 20 mins. Then did one speed run with full throttle for 20 seconds, then let it cool down. I don't know crap about 4 strokes, as I am a super jet 2 stroke rider, new to the 4 strokes. All I know is, I am new on here, and I am taking advice from the guys at Yamaha and off here. So far so good. Supper happy with the ski. Will log about 10 total hours by Saturday night. Offshore race in California on Sunday against mostly Kawis.
