Question Anyone drill and tap a 2014 exhaust manifold for O2 sensor?

Anyone drill and tap a 2014 exhaust manifold for O2 sensor?
They changed the design and cast the water fittings into the manifold now...

try it in that flat spot
looks like brp made that spot for a o2 sensor
if it fails you can just use a old style manifold

brp has those Mexicans redoing everthing

I do not like that cast fitting for longevity. Why do they always have to chance something that works fine

Agreed. I think the other fittings are also cast.
Bigdaddyrxp had a good suggestion to cut the cast fitting off flush. Drill and tap the O2 sensor and then tap the original hole for a fitting. Just wanted to see if anyone has tapped one because I am wondering if where the O2 sensor would go is any different too.

Reminds me of a kawasaki stx 12f I'm working on. Cast barb rotted off. Replacement is a tapped hole with brass barb. Seadoo is going backwards

    those extenders are junk
    they get red hot

if you have a bad 14 manifold
cut it up so we can see what the inside looks like
