2013 fx sho driveline going into a 2002 gp1200r body, what is the steering sensor for and how do I bypass it along with the reverse sensor?

I just plugged in the GP1200r steering sensor. Much smaller.

Cable tie the magnet on the reverse lever to the sensor.

I was hoping for something cleaner than a zip tie and magnet. My 1200r doesn't have a steering sensor.

Ok so there's 3 wires on the sensor. You need a multi meter. Measure the resistance between 2 wires at a time, find the closes resistor to your reading and connect the wires together using the resistor. There's 3 wires, and therfore, 3 readings to take and 3 resistors to use. It works i just don't remember what i used. I might just start making chips to plug into the reverse and steering
