power valve can you eliminate it

I wondering with all the trouble that they seem to cause is there anyway to just get rid of the power valves and block them off ??

you get rid of them you will have no bottom end at all just top speed.

i would ziptie them open or run a very light spring before removing them. but yeah, your bottom end will be washed out

non-pv 1300 uses slightly different timing curve and different U pipe (first joint in the pipe is different)

Main difference is water box, has an cross shape in the inlet. This is what provides the back pressure for take off. Warning if its too ported you may still have take off problems. seems that the top end is not hurt by this slight restriction.

What's so difficult with the PVs? Add WaveEaters, Check them and the PV shafts for wear when you put it away at the end of the season. The shafts on my PVs were terribly worn on mine when I bought it, so the PV's opened at different times (slop in the slots the couplers sit in). Ran like a new machine once I replaced them.
