Best cover for a 2011 Seadoo GTI?

    Hi all,

My non OEM cover is just about done with...looking for one that is waterproof (sick of water in the footwells) and won't fade.

Anyone have experience with the OEM Seadoo cover?

I read good things about Poppy covers, but not sure if they're waterproof.

OEM is best, Poppy's are also good. They are waterproof.

I prefer the Poppy's over the newer OEM's. Better quailty, IMO.

I have a 2011 OEM cover on my Wake 155 and it lets water though on some heavy rains. I'm happy with the cover otherwise though.

Anyone own a Jettribe Cover? Any good?

I've lived in South Florida since '98. I've owned PWC's the entire time. I've pretty much tried every cover out there it seems. The Poppy covers, Jettribe, and BlackTip covers are the best. The problem with Slippery covers is I've run across imitations that charge the same but are lesser quality. I've bought a total of 3 Slipperys over the years and 2 have been of way lesser quality than the one I considered genuine. You can just tell the difference in the screen-printing of the "Slippery" logo right off. I've been using a BlackTip on my WaveRunner and will say that the sunbrella is the best material for a cover. With Starbright waterproofing it becomes completely waterproof for more than 6 months. Yes, they are twice the cost of most covers but they will last more than twice as long I'm sure. The only thing I wish they had was the Vaccu-Hold that poppys have. I have a poppy on my SeaPoo and its awesome for trailering. I've been looking around for a place that might sell just the vaccu-hold piece. I have an industrial sewing machine and would add it to the BlackTip cover for the BEST cover ever.

After 12 hours of light rain/drizzle, I have about 10 ounces of water in the starboard footwell and about 4 ounces in the port footwell.

Not bad, but also not waterproof, as was advertised.
