    Got bored, installed Boost Gauge...

With the weather turning crappy as of late here in Chicago, I got bored and decided to mount my boost gauge...

Thanks to Shibby, I picked up a used steering pad from an 04 RXP...I got ahold of boost gauge from my friend Mario...and I picked up some basic black carbon fiber upholstry off Ebay for cheap...

Decided to recess the gauge IN the steering pad....

    Cut using a 2 1/8th hole saw...

Wrapped some corner molding in various grit sand paper to shape the foam...

Used high strength glue and an upholstry stapler with stainless steel staples to secure...

Took some time, some hits with the heat gun to stretch it in some areas, but other than that, it was fairly straight forward...

That looks great. I like the carbon fiber look with the white face gauge.
