Anyone ever have a dream where their ski was destroyed/damaged?

Posting this to hopefully see I'm not the only one who's crazy and had had dreams where their ski was destroyed or damaged.

A few dreams I've had have been where I had forgotten to put the drain plugs in and my ski sank, hit a huge log or another ski that had appeared out of nowhere, and giant waves appearing out of nowhere, causing my ski to sink, and leaving me stranded.

I guess you could say these were more like nightmares lol

it's funny I have this sheet of of paper laminated of all the "must do" and "don't forget" idems I look over before I head to the launch like equipment,ck oil ,stern plugs, trailer all secured ,ph,glove, googles,PFD ,spare Immobilizer key, lanyard etc....

Good idea to have a check list to prevent nightmares..

    Checklists are an excellent method.

Many professions use use checklists to maintain safety and avoid damage. Airline pilots, surgeons, service professionals, etc.

A printed checklist is better than a mental checklist. It is easy to get distracted or do things out of order and 'forget' a step or skip checking something. Reading down your own list helps you 'remember' to do everything that needs doing.

Over time you will refine and improve your list.

You may end up with several check lists. One for pre departure, loading trailer, checking watercraft, winch, straps, checking hitch, chains, etc.

Another for pre launch at the ramp.

Another for post launch (print it on the back of the pre launch list).

And one more list for back home, storage.
