    Help - Problems With Gtx

Got GTX on the lake today after id say atleast 7 months.... it had about 1/4 tank left ran on the lake and could not get past 5800RPM's.... thought it might have been bad gas so filled the tank up with new premium gas but still cannot get past 5800rpm, somewhere around 40mph.... Only thing i have changed is the Riva Exhaust since it last worked last year...

I am thinking it needs new spark plugs from another thread i read

    any information is appreciated!

Already have the 93 octane gas at a full tank.... going to check on the spark plugs next.... Charger is definitely still intact....

Does the ski just sitting for months actually mess the spark plug up?

I would assume that the damage to the plug would be obvious?

What are the best plugs to get for the 04 gtx limited?

    thanks!

    stock replacement plug is IXU24
if you going to continue with mods, like an air filter kit plus... then go with the colder running plug IXU27...PR...

def change the plugs start there first...
also remove the inlet hose to the SC and see if you can spin the impeller freely, if it does you puked a ceramic

it is normal for the impeller to move ever so slightly, this is the slack betwen the drive and driven gears...

start the machine and squeeze the hose going from your supercharger to the intake andhit the throttle. it should expand with force. if not you need to rebuild your supercharger. that sounds like your problem.

p.s. don't rev your engine that high out of the water.
