    Rxp motor question/advice ??? 185/215

I have a 05 Rxp.. 215 original motor dropped 2 valves at 98hrs. So with no down time I just put my extra motor in which came out of a 04 gtx sc. So it's the 185 motor in my Rxp.. Only 42 hours on it. Didn't disappoint me at all. My top speed was 66.7 on gps @ 7700rpm. Solas prop and riva 3inch intake .

so of course I want to go faster next year, so my question/advice I need is has anyone put the 215 supercharger and flywheel on a 185 motor. Now I know there exactly the same except for the pistons. 215 motor with 8:4:1 compression and the 185 motor has a little higher with 10:5:1.. I was told that I could do that without blowing the motor up but I would have to run half race fuel with 93 pump gas. Anyone do this? Any advice or input is golden, thanks in advance

    don't think you need 50:50
just put the rxp intake and ecu on the 185 and run it
you sure it 10.5:1, though that was NA
IMO get a o2 gage to make sure its safe

the RXP came with forged pistons, and the 185 had Cast ones. Not sure how much boost would be safe before they crack.

the stock pistons can take the boost
they just cant take any detonation
so with good fuel it should be fine
IMO 95+ octane is what you need with a stock ecu
those 10.5 pistons will need more fuel than stock pistons
and with a external IC you will not have enough fuel with the stock fuel map

So bigger injectors and fuel pressure regular an you think it will be good

My 2006 Seadoo workshop manual has the 185 compression at 8.1:1 and the 215 at 8.4:1. 10.5:1 is the NA.
