2014 RXP-X First Ride and Impression.
Finally picked up my Ski. Had to clear a space on the double trailer. Here was my thread on that. http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...=223927&page=3
Incredible ski! Just put and hour almost 2. Fallowing the manual break-in so did do some short full throttle bursts. I'm wounder how much different it will be after 10 hours.
I can't believe how well it handles chop? My Honda doesn't even come close.
This thing feels planted and tracks so well. The ergo lock seat lets me corner HARD I mean 50+mph turns very sharp!
Would love to hear from an FZR owner that also has an 12+ RXP-X?
This ski is just revolutionary! My friend that road my Honda was so tired and me nothing even after doing good cornering.

I also have the PX, and the Honda.
The PX is 10 times better In the chop for sure.
I still love riding the Honda when it's time to get air.
The PX is a lot harder to get significant air with.

Congrats on the ski!
I went from a 90 mph FZR which was a blast and had so much power to the new RXP-X and it is another kind of blast. Both skis have their place but I couldn't be happier with my decision to go to the RXP-X. Yes, the RXP-X loves the chop and crazy how well it does. It has a different kind of feel. If you take a sharp turn, you better hold on because it is turning hard!
Once you hit 5 hours which is where I am now, the ski will wake up a lot! From my understanding it still is not at it's full potential yet. I think full potential is 7 hours.

-extremely wet ride such that it needed a splash deflector
-quick throttle response when jumping from wave to wave giving a "snappy" feeling to the boat
-relatively good fuel economy and burned 87 octane fuel
-poor turning ability
-telescopic handlebar mounting enabled a wide variety of riding positions
-extremely glued to the water in all conditions
-engine sounds "mean" compared to the FZ one
-because of the Ergolock seat the feeling of confidence in high speed turns in the rough was amazing
They're both very fun boats and I don't regret owning either one of them.

I'm at 121+ hours ,and it's been great so far. I had no major issues or problems. I am still on stock supercharger (no rebuilt yet)! My ski has Stage 1 upgrade on it! I had a little steering is off by dealer fixed it for free. I think 2014 they improve the intercooler because I am at 121hrs with no leaks! (Stock) I have been changing oil, filter, and spark plugs every 25hrs. I was worried about buying a Seadoo because of all the excessive electronics as well as the Super charger but I finally took the risk and haven't regretted it yet. Love it so far.
Here's my 100hrs 2014 RXPX260 Review! : http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=222793
