    Question Gtx supercharger question

    When I get my supercharger back, is there anything (lubricants) that I need to use??

    Some recommend putting engine oil on the bearings by slowly dripping the oil from the engine side by the gear. It wouldn't hurt regardless if its necessary or not. Also use a little anti seize on the aluminum housing part that slides into the pto housing to keep it from seizing up. Thats all you need.

    Torque the mounting bolts to the correct INCH LBS.

    I always pre lube the bearings like the other member stated. put a little oil on the orings that slide into the PTO cover as well.

    Ok well I just got it back from rebuild and everything seems to already be oiled. So, I guess I just slap it on?? Also, is there a break-in period ?

    Lol thanks hopefully the rebuild will get it back to speed. I was only getting about 55 mph out of it before
