Off Throttle Steer 300X
I hate this as much as the next guy, it's irritating to say the least.
I read where everybody says the just disconnect the plug from the steering assembly.
Doesn't the yellow/white wire require a 12 volt source to ensure the off throttle steering doesn't activate?
It's my understanding if the ECU sees zero volts it will raise the rpm...but then again if the connector is off, how does it see the handle bars have been turned??

It requires nothing other then unplugging the sensor

I removed the Sensor Magnet (PN: 21176-3746) from the Steering Shaft in an effort to keep the electrical connections sealed. Never had KSS (Kawasaki Smart Steering) activate again afterwards... It would have been easier to just disconnect the Sensor, BUT I feel better knowing the electrical connections are as intended (sealed)!
