Thread: SHO Issue

    SHO Issue

    On the way back in, let off the throttle to communicate with a fellow rider and when I got back on, wouldn't rev past 5.3k rpm. Idled great and responded up to 5.3k on the trigger, but after that to full throttle no change. Compression is 130 each psi like before the issue. Spark plugs all look the same and great color. No codes, no beeps/ alarms and actually ran fine up to 5.3k (roughly half throttle) and rode it in that way. So far replaced:

    -spark plugs
    -fuel pump
    -supercharger clutch with new 2013
    -checked for boost leaks
    -supercharger wheel spins free with no issues when removed from engine
    -pump is free

    What I was thinking on TB. What's easiest way to test?

    lee i just try to hook up the yds but i'm having issues communicating . according to the service manual its the only way to test the damn TB.

    When mine stuck I pulled intercooler hose off and sprayed fogging oil up in there then started motor and sprayed up in there.....worked for awhile then it happens again a year later and I pulled manifold and cleaned it properly and it has made it all year and not had a problem

    joey , this thing looks like its not opening all the way and it also feels when accelerate like its lagging or hesitating. i'm talking about the butterfly opening, it feels slow .
    check comp , 130 in all 4 , replace fuel pump , new 13 clutch , lee did the plugs and i just change the oil . lol .
    start fine , idles perfect.
