GP1200r manifold novi tec
hi all, I am only a new member to green hulk and going thru some of the posts on here I think after years of looking I have found the right place with the right guys for finding information and experience!
I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable or have tonnes of experience with 2 strokes ( my background is diesels mechanic) but I do tend to like to tinker a little, and that has meant spending thousands of coin on a GP1200r that some might say is a waste but the satisfaction I get from riding this beast is better than the 250x and the 300x Kawa I also have. just something about 2 strokes that the 4 strokes cant replicate!
anyways, I recently purchased a set of 48mm Novi tec carbs to go on this beast but found the OEM inlet manifold does not suit. so after a little research I have come up empty with finding a new one as most places stop making parts for these ski's now.
so hence the question, does anyone on here have an inlet manifold they want to sell? or has someone here made their own and had success in doing it? and if they have is there any little secrete that I will need to know before starting to build my own?
any help here would be appreciated as I live in Melbourne and the aftermarket products are not readily available here as easy as over there in the states.
