Checklist for new ski prior to launching

    Hey guys,

Hoping to go riding this sunday and break-in the ski with some hours. I'll be following what the manual says. Seen various posts regarding bailer hose clamps, anybody got a pic of the things? Would like to check and make sure dealer did a good job clamping them but have no idea what to look for. Other than those, any other thing I should be looking for? Ski is a 2014 RXT-X.

Always check drain plug is installed

Can you take a pick of the engine compartment on the new RXTX and post it?.

I saw an rxt215 and it was super cleaned up compared to my 2010.

most of the seadoo drain plugs have check valves that should shut off the water when the plug is left out
full tank of the highest octane you can find, 93 is always better than 91

A lot tidier than the 2010, because the airbox is in the front and the coolant tank is mounted on the side I assume like the GTR I looked at the other day. Although the hull inside the GTR looked white...yours still looks yellowish like my 2010. Wonder why.

Is there a filter on oem intake assembly? Im installing speed ties and the back end of a rivet popped into hull, noticed the intake assembly is right near hole(dust)

Took her out yesterday, got close to 3 hours on the meter. Double ziptied the bailer hoses until i get some ss worm clamps. Had a lot of fun, looking forward to putting more time down!

Met 4 other riders from a local ski group, picture with skyway bridge in the background. Not sure why it's upside down lol
