    Seadoo Engine mounts

    Hello guys,

I have ripped my engine mounts again. As I often ride the sea, my OEM engine mounts rarely exceed 50 hours of operation.
Is what happens to you the same as me?
What are the strongest engine mounts on the market?

    Thanks
    Fabrice

I think SeaDoo used to make special "racing mounts" too.
Anyways I'm surprised, 50hrs? My buddy and I always seriously abuse the two RXP-X's we have here. 150hrs on one 100 on another, lots of flying high in the air. One hard landing took off the big plastic cover above the IBR bucket. Another ripped the front bumper but other than that skis are holding up just fine.
Here are some pics, I think you can call it "abuse"...

Yes, I agree, SeaDoo did good job, the way it handles chops and the way it lands if airborne is just amazing especially for such a large and heavy hull...

    Thanks for your replies.
Effectively, your pictures are impressive, you are crazy to do that with new RXP260. Nice pics No mechanical problems with IBR?
Find below pictures of my before-last engine mounts after 50hours of operation.

Based on the feedback we have in France, the OEM engine mounts are not as strong as before, since they are manufactured in Mexico instead of Canada.

I have seen pictures of Rhaas engine mounts, they seems better than OEM mounts but not sure that it is the best compromise.
Other models, as Torx rebuilds kit seems good because the washer to which the motor is fixed is held by a nut below.
This means that even if the support is ripped, the engine is always maintained and it can't be pulled up.

Surprisingly no IBR problems at all even as the bucket is the first thing to grab or hit the water on the crazy vertical landings. Steering columns got loose on both skis, I mean you could wobble it in every direction but I wouldn't blame seadoo for that as it was it wasn't designed to hang all the body weight off it the way I do.

Thanks to your post I will keep my eys on the engine mounts.
