Yamaha Waverunner XLT 1200 - New member

What an awesome forum! Great information and very helpful people. I just purchased a 2004 XLT1200 and plan to use this forum extensively.

Were the oil lines secured or is it premix?

    D-Plates and Wave Eaters......quickly.

    Thanks guys.

No D plate, no wave eaters, oil lines intact. After reading the endless forum posts there's all kinds of stuff that I need to take care of just to prevent an issue. I'm getting the feeling that just pulling the carbs and shipping them off for rebuild is the best thing... No I just need to plan for how much all of this preventative work will cost in parts and labor for the carbs to be done.

Thanks CCW! I'm actually in the process of pulling the carbs now. I will be sending them to Jim.

While out, do the rest. The 1200 xlt is a great ski once the necessary measures are done.
