    Yamaha Wins the 2014 DP to Oside Offshore Race - R&D TURBO SVHO

    Congratulations to The Klipper (aka Klippenstein) for the overall win at the 2014 Dana Point to Oceanside and Back Race - the R&D Turbo Powered YAMAHA SVHO takes the overall in uncharacteristically flat seas. Congratulations Klipper and Yamaha!

    It was a fun race with pretty smooth conditions which helped Yamaha finally take a win. Can't wait to see your boat when it's all done and ready to go for Mark Hahn.

    Nice to see yamaha winning an offshore event. This will be good motivation for the kawi offshore racers to actually "mod" their nearly stock skis. It does make it more interesting now so, as a Ultra fan, I am happy to see some competition. Congrats on the reliability of your turbo machine

    just curious is the turbo kit of the shelf from R&D ?

    They reason Kawi usually wins them is because the conditions are normally a LOT rougher than this one was. The coordinators usually purposely hold off on starting until the conditions are rough, but they didn't get rough for this one. Look at some of the pics from the race, and it was almost glass.

    Yes, they stock the Turbo and anything else you need. It's an amazing set up. I have it on my FZR and love it.

    Yes yamaha won but was not Gerner,Heidler,Warner,Kanamori etc racing in this particular event btw Mike K. is a great racer but hi ran against himself
