Thumbs up IBR handle bar extenders

Got my handle bar extenders in today from steach. Good looking pieces. Took about 10 min to install. For anyone wanting to run aftermarket grips on your IBR ski, these should take care of any fear of only having 1 end clamped to the bars.

    Thanx for the feedback Troy.

This was a project I did for purely selfish reasons. I wanted them!!
Having friends with tools and skills like Mike (addicted) lets it happen.

Once the prototype was perfected I had the remaining material cut into extras.
I have four sets available for $40 each, shipped in USA. If interested PM me.

What was the main reason for the change?? To use aftermarket grips???

Did the adjustable bars not make them long enough to run aftermarket grips?? Wider bars generally will make you fatigued faster since your swinging your arms more than you do with narrow bars...

Dont get me wrong, it looks good....

I did something like that on a project boat of mine. It worked out wel, but I did not like the feel of the wider bars while riding. It felt like there was no steering response. You really had to turn the bars a lot to make the ski turn a little. I switched back to the narrower configuration after one weekend of riding.

I have had the ODI's on there for about a 1 1/2 years, but the factory bars do not allow for the outer ODI clamp to grip anything. The only thing holding the ODI's on was the clamp nearest the controls. These extensions allow the end clamp something to hold on to.
They do not widen the bars any.

The Riva levers are nice. I really cannot tell a difference. I did it mostly for the BLING factor.

    hahah nice!

i wouldn't mind a set of levers if i could get the color removed and have them anodized again in orange.
