    RAIN!!!

We finally got some rain around here! Only 2 inches at the house, but one area got 14 inches. One of our lakes came up 35 FEET! This is the highest this lake as been since 1987.

Unfortunately, the lake where I normally boat is still at less than 2% full. I can't even launch the JetSkis from the shore. It has to come up 25 feet before I can launch my boat. But, hey, now there's hope!

Which lakes are you talking about Steve? I live close to Medina Lake which is about 20 miles northwest of San Antonio and it has been so low for the last 3 years that we haven't had our ski's out there at all. It has been hanging on with about 3% of it's capacity which is a horrible sight to see.
    From this...

To less than this...even the water in this picture is gone now

The only water left is the little bit right in front of the dam...

We've got a place at Lake E. V. Spence, which caught nothing. It's less than 2% full, and the water is so low that we can't even launch from the beach anymore.

Lake J. B. Thomas, near Snyder, is up 35 feet.

    Interesting, thanks for the info!

I have been absent for a long time from the forum cuz' I was not able to ride my ski's, so I turned my attention elsewhere for a while.
Hopefully we'll get a bunch of rain soon, or at least before next summer so we can get back to riding.

don't worry..we're sending some water ( we've been getting slammed pretty hard around here last week or so..and quite a bit of rain has been falling south of the dam..so it's in the river...)

we had 2.1 inches day before yesterday and my yard looks like one of the less then great lake shots.

I can't even get to the back of my yard without a monster truck....

You have a problem, we have the solution right here in the beautiful Pacific Northwest! We screw up birthdays, weddings, parties, camping trips, all the time here we have even filled a few lakes!
