    1999 Seadoo XPL - Race Ski

    Hi guys, I am selling my 1999 Seadoo XPL. I bought this ski a few years ago and have used it only a handful of times. Its time for me to clear out my garage so this ski has to go. It is a total World Finals race ready watercraft. I honestly do not even know everything it has as I bought it just like this from Performance Fiberglass. It did come setup for race gas so I did buy a set of pump gas domes and that is what is in it right now. I do have the race gas domes and those will be coming with the ski. Also a brand new set of Hydro Turf is coming with the ski. Here is what I know the ski has:

    Coffman Pipe
    Novi Maxiflow carbs
    Miller Head
    Miller boost bottle
    Custom UMI steering that has been re-welded to shift your weight forward
    Skat Trak Setback Magnum Pump
    Skat Trak Prop
    Worx Intake Grate

    This ski runs absolutely perfect and is still setup for Lake Havasu weather on race gas. I never raced the ski and the last time I used it was BBSD in 2013. This ski is a beast on the water and you can race it at the World Finals and be competitive. Also it will pass tech without issue since its still setup the same as when I bought it. If your coming to the World Finals I can deliver it there.

    Price = $3500 - ski only

    I paid $4500 for this ski when I bought it.

    If you have any questions please let me know.

    a 13/19 skat 148 mm prop would be very small for that setup-- I would guess more like a 16/22.

    The ski is located in Southern California. I am not sure exactly which prop but this ski was built by the best so it only has the best parts that are designed to make this ski fast and reliable!

    The coffman pipe became known as the "purple piston eater" due to over-prop situation (and users not knowing how to jet properly, but that's always the case). These pipes require the motor to spin above 7200rpm (7400-7500 nice). Peak torque on this pipe is about 7000-7100rpm and can stick in a hard turn if lugged down WFO. This ski has proven itself so no worries for seller or buyer. Get it dialed in properly and a really fun (reliable) setup!

    Either way, I'd have a hard time selling this nice ski. (even though I have 1.5 of them myself)

    My XPL is already tuned and running great! The ski was built/tuned by Steve Strickland & Mel Miller. They are 2 of the best in the industry when it comes to building/tuning. Again this ski is a turnkey race ski. There is no concern for it eating pistons or not performing well. It cranks easily, idles perfectly, and when you grab a fist full of throttle it yanks hard.
