Thread: Pump service?

Is there a service interval for the pumps?
I didn't see anything in my owners manual.
My friend has two 07 Seadoo's.
One is a RXP, the other is a Wake. Both have less than 70 hours. Both were bought new, both run fine. He's taking them to the dealer soon to be winterized. He said something about getting the pumps serviced. Is anything really necessary for the pumps at this point?

He could check himself for condition of the front and rear seals, 2 o-rings lubed and not dry, and proper amount of grease/gear oil in cavitation cone, and feel if bearings spin normal. A lot cheaper to check it yourself than a dealer, but a good annual check of this IS important.
