    Oil pump cover and pto, Need Advise

    Here are some pics of oil pump cover and housing, can I reuse these or do they need to be replaced?

    A machine shop can clean up the PTO housing part of it, to save the cost of the entire PTO housing. I replaced the cover and gear parts, as mine looked much worse than yours. I have been told by my machinist, that small surface scratches in the oil pumps is normal. He said large deep scratches can cause a loss of oil pressure.

    Remove the front scavenge oil pump also for inspection on the front of the engine. The internals look very similar.

    Thanks Guys, The pics in post 1 are from the front pump, Pics from post 2 are the pump inside pto cover
