Hmmm ok well that part i was missing too.

When i bought the OEM ride plate alignment tool, this part was not included.

Used this OEM tool together with the SBT alignment tool and that fitted well together.

Could only not set the driveshaft play with the alignment marks.

Used a caliper instead between thru hull fitting and C-clip groove.

Did the whole alignment procedure without bellow, carbon seal etc. Much easier !!

What is the length btw from this "pillow block bushing" ?

So next time i can calculated the alignment marks, interesting to see what the play is doing it this way.....

The measurement is in the service manual not sure off hand what that measurement is, But there is 2 measurements with reference marks you need to draw on the shaft and only one of those lines should be visable were shaft passes through pillow block, if both lines or no line are visable then you move engine forward or backwards until one line on shaft is visable.

I have the manual and know this procedure.
BUT i don't have this "pillow block". My thought was if i know the length of this block,
I can calculate the correct position of the 2 reference marks on the alignment bar.
The distance stated in the manual minus the length of this "block".

Is this the measurement you're looking for? 22.3 mm

    Yeah that's what i mean !!

    Thanks a lot

Before I aligned the engine with a drive shaft play of 1/4" - 3/8" (I don't remember exact).

But i'm just curious how it will turn out this way.
