Question 2004 Gtx Supercharged 185 problems

Well I got the supercharger rebuilt and just took the ski out for a test run. I am only getting about 7100-7200 rpms and top speed of 54-55 mph. So, since it's not the supercharger that I am losing speed on what else could it be? When I turn I get about 7600 rpms. Also, wheb idling its bounces from 1000 to 2000 rpms. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

idle control valve might be failing, ski could be in a limp mode also. Was the supercharger broke before you rebuilt it or just maintenance?

How was it running before the rebuild? sounds like ICV if it is hunting for a idle. Going from 1000 to 2000 is a wide band. Also your RPMS are down by 500rpms or so. Pump bearings may be going out. Check the pump when you pull to check impeller. When were plugs changed? Also check compression.

ICV is that expensive/hard to change?? Also plugs have been changed within the last 3 months.

IAC is expensive from BRP, but used ones are not. It easy to change, about the easiest thing you can do. Just 2 screws. Maybe borrow one from a friend and try his to confirm. High RPM issues would be the SC impeller.
