Sept 27 Off Shore boat races!
Few of us are heading out of Dunedin tomorrow to go to Coachman Park to see the boats and the event. Then heading out to see the off shore boat races. Feel free to join if you want. Meeting up at 10am off Dunedin Causeway.
Video from last time I went.

Some pics from today. Was a fair turn out and cool to see the boats in the water next to you.
One of the pic crew guys told us that one prop cost $40,000!!! Yikes! They had 2 on the boat and 3 sets in the truck as spares..

Love the boats, and miss my 42' Lightning but my wallet thanks me for getting rid of it. Twin Whippled 525 EFI's suck down fuel and are expensive on the maintenance. But doing 100+ on the water is a blast in a Deep V.
I like the operating costs of Jet Ski's and Jet Boats a lot more now..
