    Jim's Ride plate hype

I know there has been a million threads on Jim's cut VX ride plate. But there seems to be some new hype with Jim's 2014 fzr svho cut ride plate. I have a 2013 fzr and my next mod is going to be a ride plate. To get me close to my current goal of 74-75. So Jim? Anyone? What would be the best bet? All opinions welcome.

A Jim's cut VX ride plate
    or
A Jim's cut 14 fzr svho ride plate

    Thanks

Jims cut vx plate is still the fastest plate. The jims cut 14 plate is a hair slower but handles better, goes over chop better, is more stable, and has a lot less bounce to none.

I didn't mean it like is there really a performance gain? Obviously people are seeing great results. My "hype" comment was geared more towards his cut on the new 14 plates vs the vx plate. Both see great results just looking for the better overall

The VX plate is the best plate for smooth water and speed the 14 plate is best all around plate if you ride in different conditions from light to heavy chop

    Agreed
The 14 plate will be a better all round plate
And will still give speed gains close to a VX plate

The modded 2014 plate is the way to go.

I've had both and the modded '14 plate is much better all around. I was never a big fan of the modded VX, other than speed. There is no hype surrounding the modded '14, it's not much slower than the VX and is leaps and bounds ahead in handling.
