srx or srz
can a srx impeller be made into a srz
I have a custom srx 15/23 that I would like to use on my 13 rxp build

Yes, as far i know it has to be machined for the proper setback, I'm sure somebody will share the details

Have the setback mod done to the prop or rebuild the pump with the older style shaft or use the older style pump.

How about the other way around? Can an srz be used in place of a srx? Poor mans set back

You could probably machine a spacer to fit in between the prop and pump, but I think that could possibly lead to a prop unscrewing and a trashed motor.
To do it correctly you would need to rebuild the pump with the newer srz pump shaft to match the srz prop.

I have a SRX that was machined so that I could run it in my 12 PX. It worked great until I trashed it with a rock. I had Impros repair it, and now it lives in my 14 TX.
