the motor has no idea you are moving more air thru the motor than designed
and they have the stock tune running squeaky lean
with the stock knock control working it may already be pulling timing to keep your motor safe
any time you move more air you need more fuel to keep the afr down and make more power
the max power afr for a boosted motor is much richer than a NA motor
Andy, Whittlebeast has been posting his stock AFR findings and his opinions
and he and others believe that even stock they are too lean

    you kidding right?
intake and exhaust mods are warrantee killers
and the only way to change the fuel is with a re-flash or piggy back fuel controller

A motor is a big pipe organ. Almost anything that changes the sound of the motor will change the tune.

The dealer has no legal way to mess with this stuff. They can only put things back to stock.

If I gave a jack about the warranty I would not have done the mods just want to make sure things are done right so I don't kill it by being a tight ass

These motors are set up way leaner from the factory than I would ever feel comfortable with. They also run out of injectors rial early at WOT as soon as you start modding these things for speed.

There are fairly standard fixes for most of the stuff. See my build in my sig for how I went about it.

They run lean ok stock , also the timing plays a factor on it ..

iam sure with just a rear intake I was seeing 13 +WOT on the AFR ...

I then ran a v tech tune with their injectors and it's been great ...

On my buddies gprxp with a stock X charger and 42lbs "everythibg out of a 08 RXPX" with an external intercooler we saw 13.5-13.8 afr

Not saying this is what you're goimg to see but just so you have an idea
