    Angry 2000 1200 gpr

How do I check the ohms on a stator. I have replaced the CDI box Rebuilt the carburetors New reeds Check the compression New plugs And wires New gas lines Still bogs down at 3500 rpm. I'm about ready to put a match in the tank.

I did a little reading on your original post about your 1200 issues. Do you have complete confidence in your carbs, because they have been reworked? You said that it was rejetted, but did not give info on your jetting and if you have aftermarket flame arrestors or stayed stock. Tell us a little about your set up and if you still have the accellerator pump in service. Also, did you rework the carbs as a result of a piston melt down, a bogging problem that was starting to develope, or routine maintenance? After the carb rebuild, how long did the GPR run OK?

You do have a primer, so I would suggest that when you next put it into the water and it bogs, continue riding, and while it is bogging, hit it with the primer...i.e. add more fuel to see if it "wakes the boat up". If by chance it does wake up, or you do feel a significant change for the good then you probably have a carb problem. Bypassing the fuel selector switch as a test would also be a good idea as well. It does not take long to do and for right now, it will simplify you fuel supply system and eliminate that as a potential problem.

I do not belive that your Power Valves would open at 3500 rpms anyway.....probably closer to 4900-5500 I would think. You still have to check to see if they open should you get into the upper rpm range. Of course you will have to ride with the seat off to see this and mark the PV linkage so you will see when they are actually rotate the valves open.

I am not very good with electrical issues, but does the problem show up after the engine is warmed up, or right from the beginning when it is cold?

    Hope this helps.
