    CP Piston In 4tec oil squirter to close ?

    Hey all
    RBLDng a 4tec 07 motor with Molnar rods and CP pistons , the Oil squirter on Bottom Pointing up looks to be hitting the bottom of piston ? (very Close Is this normal to be this close) I dont recall how close the stock pistons was to the oil squirter ?


    Any suggestions

    Grab some 08+ X ski sprayers , they have a different bend in them that clears ... Or mod ur Pistons to clear ..

    I have the 08 brand new there a pinch longer , seems the 07 clear a bit better , Dont want to mod the pistons maybe bend the squirter ?

    What should clearance be ?

    Most guys just bend the squirter......

    Yes thanks thats what I did , I couldnt really see a difference in the o7 vs 08 squirter ? , I ended up using the old squirter and bolts . the old ones looked like there made better to me.

    Be very , very , very careful bending the sprayers ... Seen to many snap latter ...
