    04 GPR1300 Fuel Issue

Needing some help on an 04 GPR1300. On the trailer the ski starts up fine, idles ok, then bogs every other time I hit the throttle. Checked comp, 130, 130, 120. Plugs come out gas soaked every time. Running BR8ES-11 plugs. Only mod is a D plate and chip. In the water I cant get it over about 10 MPH. Plugged the ski up to the computer (using SBT scanner tool 102 program) not showing any codes, all sensors appear to be working correctly. 132 Hours on this ski. Pump and prop are clear. PV and Servo motor are working correctly. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ive had a lot of problems with dirty injectors in the past. GP1300R specifically. Only thing that sucks is they are pain in the ass to get out just to see if they are spraying nicely or not. Ive noticed dirty injectors to cause a very strange idle and it backfires after revving up. Plugs will always be soaked after running on the hose, they don't dry up until there is a load on the engine. if you have good compression and fresh spark plugs and no check engine light then most likely its a fuel or reed issue

    sarabia, its an EFI ski.

G and VDE, also thought possibly clogged injectors, but seemed weird for plugs to be wet if injectors were clogged/dirty. Ill dig into that.

I did pull the reeds, they are all sealing properly and no cracks, but oddly enough there is some oily residue/small puddle of oil in the airbox. Not sure where that exactly came from....

Thanks for the help fellas. When I end up figuring it out, Ill be sure to post and let everyone know what it was. In the meantime, if anyone has anymore suggestions, I'm all ears.

    Quick update....

Cleaned injectors, although they didnt appear dirty.
Pulled reeds, inspected, no cracks or chips and all are sealing properly.
    Checked fuel pressure, dead on.

Really at a loss now... Any other ideas?

Is it getting spark in all 3cylinders... Could be spark plugs, wires, coils, timing...
    or even flywheel not good.

These mysterious problems are best to solve with a donor ski or friends ski to swap some parts and test.

    It sucks... Good luck

Did a little more work on this thing today. Pretty much gave up on it being a fueling issue since I've went thru and checked/cleaned/replaced the whole system. So I pulled the PV covers and head to make sure none of the PV were sticking or broken. All checked good. Interestingly, the rear cyl PV area has a thick white milky residue (water intrusion) and actually had a small puddle of water in there. However, the rear cylinder shows no signs of water damage or even a sign of water being in it at some point. Wouldnt the only way for water to get into the PV area be to either be leaking at the PV cover gasket (unlikely) or some type of head gasket leak allowing water into the cylinder and some of that making its way past the PV into the cover area? Am I missing something?
