    Questin about Supercharger slip?

Just purchased a 2008 RXP-X with 30 hours so I figured I would pull the SC and check the slip. Slips at 81 in. lbs. In the Seadoo manual I have said it should be between 71-117 in lbs. Should I still be good even though the slip is at the lower end of the scale? Also what torque should the three bolts that hold the SC on the block be? Or should they just be hand tight with some medium loctite? Thanks

IMO I would pull the SC and reconfigure the spring washers to a Pre-load of 12 Ft-Lbs (144 in-lbs). After use, it will settle in at around 10 Ft-lbs (120 in-lbs). Most guys use 1 ft-lb per psi of boost the SC is capable of. Stock is around 10 psi.

I replaced the rear bolt with a 10mm hex head vice the Torx head. Loctite Blue 242 with normal hand torque has worked for me for many years.
