    2005 Ultra 150 steering lock.

Hey guys I've owned my ski for almost a year now and has been great. I haven't ridden it 3/4 months due to winter but I'm keen to go out again so got it up and running today. Only problem is the steering column is completely locked up to the left, can't move it at all.

Anyone had this problem before or know what it could be?

    Thanks.

My guess would the the cable is corroded. Pretty common in the Yamaha jet boats, especially in salt water.

Thanks but I got it going again. Just needed a bit of force to get it moving again.

Was still a bit stiff though so I greased up the ends of the cable and the steering column, turning like a dream now.

Check the nozzle on the pump, it could be to tighten
