How much time left on this SC belt?

Hi Guys ,starting to see more and more strands or braids on the backside area of the rib as you can see in the photo..

Ive got 104 salt water hrs on her and boost seem full, wanna get another 5-6 hrs before the season ends at the end of this month.Changing the belt ,rebuilding jet pump ,swapping a 2014 Intake Manifold in and the usual change oil ,exhaust filter, clean IC and few other inspections for my off season "must do" list...

Think I can squeeze 4-6 hrs out?

It can cause damage to other parts as the strands flail around
And you could get passed by stock yamies and seadoo's

Yea you can for sure limp back to shore if it breaks. Around 15mph or so. I will say if you took off the plastic belt cover part like most of us do it has a chance to take out the charger cooler hose when the pieces start whipping around, plus when they do come apart its a damn mess everywhere. Kinda like broken car window glass, you'll find belt pieces floating around for a long time..... I know a guy who broke one

Statiscally speaking, you are on a borrowed time about 4 hrs.
If you manage to put another 4-6 hrs on it, you've got to go to Vegas.

In relation to taking off the cover is there a quick way? My belts slipping today and i think due to excessive cleaning/spraying of engine bay and I had a look in there before and took out the easy bolt but then there was a lot in the way. I'm trying to get in there to degrease it and spray anti belt slip.

If I take out the Catch can will I be able to get out the other end of the supercharger belt cover? How many bolts are holding it on? Just two? Thanks for your help. Ive certainly learnt a lesson today that I cant spray as much in the hull as used to on my other skis.

    Thanks for any advice.

You need to remove the catchcan and yes theres another bolt, I wouldnt go spraying belt grip on it though unless you want more of a mess. Just wash it out with degreaser and a pressure washer. In all the years from owning a 250 to a couple of 300s ive never had a belt slip. Your engine must be swimming in lube!!! I pressure wash my engine after every ride and give it the lightest spray of lanotec. What are you spraying on it. Btw the cover is the first thing anyone should remove, you must have been using a can per ride to get it under the cover though lol
