Lost a family member today
He was the best friend a guy could have, and a great teacher. I learned much from the ole boy; things like forgiveness and unconditional love - rare things in the world we live in. I do not think it a coincidence that God spelled backwards is dog... Dogs reinforce so many things that God would have us practice towards one another...

Sorry to hear this as well. My wife and I are both huge dog people and know this feeling all too well. Had to say goodbye to Tigger a few years back. He was 17 years, nine months, and 12 days old. That's a long time to have a best friend and then have to say goodbye. Hope you will be okay.
