Bilge and Stop swtiches not working
I'm new to the forum and just purchased my first pwc...a 2004 polaris virage with 50 hours on it. I've owned dirtbikes my whole life and have always done most of the maintenance, so I'm not completely helpless when it comes to fixing mechanical issues, but I'm still trying to learn my way around the pwc engines and nuances.
So I've taken my ski out a few times and it runs great. The only issues are somewhat minor and don't prevent me from taking her out for a spin.
1. The bilge pump does not come on when i press the button.
2. The ski starts up no problem using the stop/start switch, but the switch doesn't work when I want to shut the motor off....i have to pull the lanyard which does shut it off.
Any suggestions on what the issue may be or how to diagnose? Are these problems related?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I've seen a couple of the newer ones not shut off but usually after a bit of run time on the water they suddenly start working??? You could have a blown fuse in the e-box for the bilge.

I had the same problem with my ski and it was the lr503 ( I believe that was the part number ) that was bad and it fixed both my builg pump and start/stop switch
