    2000 gp1200r intermediate shaft

I have a 2000 gpr and the intermediate shaft is stripped I bought one for a 1300 but it does not slide all of the way back to the hull it seems to bottom out on the drive shaft way before are they interchangeable or do I have to get a specific 1 for a 2000 gpr 1200 thanks for any input

    You have 3 options.

Get the 2" spacer and bolts off the newer pumps

Buy a short driveshaft off an 02 gpr or any earlier fx series

    Get the 1200 mid shaft.

Splines are about 2" to the rear on the 1300 midshaft vs the 1200.
