Barnegat Bay. It has everything.
Restaurants on the water, lots of beach area, several large raft up parties, tons of areas to explore, always flat and rough areas, open water and protected areas/windy marshes, several inlets (one of which regarded as the most dangerous/fun on the east coast).

hmmm, not interested in drinking and riding so I`ll have to say> The Mullica River, the Wading and Bass Rivers, great Bay, Tuckerton Bay, Parkertown, the ICW over to AC... it`s all there... and there is food on the water if need be. I`d rather run the rivers than any of those bays anytime...

Hudson River; but You have to cross boundaries to include NY if You really want to experience the full effect.
Take a trip down to Mudbug, Norris, Cumberland, even Smith Mountain Lake, and You quickly realize how crappy NJ is for riding...

The Delaware River going south out of Trenton..
Lucky George Washington and his men wasn't crossing the Delaware now,he be hit by few 75 mph jet skis ..lol
Nothing beats once you leave the dock there's nothing but you and the water and 40 miles to the city of brotherly love(Philly),NO no wake zones ,wide enough where a few guys can rip down the river side by side but if you got ski trouble or want to take a break the rivers only 1/4 mile -1/2 mile wide, water can be unpredictable from calm to 1-2 ft chop with a few boats or tugboat and barges making it quite Narly and speaking of Narly if you want to change up from some WOT riding you can get behind some of those monster rollers those tugboats and tankers make for some jumping but beware ,they'll swallow you whole if you don't mind getting soaked..
If your coming from 195 like most its right off the highway as 195 becomes r29 with a wide ramp and lots of parking..
Its just great " wind ripping thru your hair" type of riding without a care in the world...
