    Deal or No Deal?

A buddy of mine just offered me his (2) MINT 2008 VX Cruisers on a gorgeous white ComFab trailer for $6500. Each ski has about 150 hrs and are in MINT condition. Is there any money left on the table if I wanted to re-sell?

Sounds like a good deal to me. I sold my '96 Wave Venture for $2500 in 2010 with no trailer, so two '08s with a nice trailer is a fair price.

.for personal skis, its a great deal...for an investment, you aren't going to make much on it..

I sold a 2008 VX Cruiser with about 40 hours on it with a decent Shoreland'r trailer for $5000 back in June after a day or two on Craigslist to an out of state buyer, so I would think that at $6500 you don't risk losing anything, and you might make a grand flipping them, depending on the sales taxes where you're at.

I may even be able to get (2) single trailers instead of his double trailer. My thinking is that I should be able to sell them for $4500 each next Spring fairly easy considering most "average" VX's around here sell for $4500 but these are MINT Cruisers. That said, realistically, I can foresee a +/- $2500 profit if I let them sleep in my heated garage this winter.

I agree with CCW if you are looking for profit resale them separate or sell one with a trailer for $4500 and keep the other with the double trailer and you have yourself a descent ski with a double trailer for $2000 you could easily resell it after a few years use for more than that.
