    Upside down ball mount?

Has anyone ever turned the ball mount upside down in order to get their trailer level?

Mine is going on a KIA Sportage and the rear bumper is low so I'm thinking it might have to be upside down. The hitch is a Curt and attaches to the frame then out under the bumper...

yeah you will want it upside down. i had it the normal way on the jeep and every time i pulled out of my driveway something would scrap. since i flipped it i have had no issues and the ski is closer to level than it was.

Just a 1/2 hunk of of strong carbon steel, it doesn't know what's up or down. How much weight that it can carry is limited by your vehicle and or the hitch and its attachment to frame of said vehicle. Any accident that would cause it damage woulda already totaled what ever was hooked to it.

Only exception would be those fancy ones with an indention in it shaped for the nut.
