Is supercharger on its way out ( pic in side )

I what to see if this 2004 supercharger was any good so I tryed turning it with my hand and I turn it a bet, so I took it out to see if the medal washers were there, and they were. Was going to do a slip test but I don't have these special tool, is there another way. Something I can use to hold it in place. Anyway maybe someone can look at these pictures and see something I'm not seeing.

When in doubt ....... Rebuild it! Looks like it has a shim in it to get the slip up. With a fresh rebuild and new washers you shouldn't need a shim to up the slip. Proper configuration of the washers will get the right slip for that charger

    More than likely a shim

With no Special tools on hand you can go ghetto and get a wash cloth and fold it up like a head band with 4 or so folds, wrap the gear with it & put it in a vise but don't crank too tight. This will hold the gear while you put the torque wrench on the 17mm nut on the SC wheel and turn counter CW to get a reading. Been there, it's works just fine that way

My rpm are at 7450 and would like to start. Here. Pigtail is on this ski, intercooler I clean and tested, compression is 130,120,120, impeller looks good. Can I just try my x charger first or do I have to put 42 fuel injectors on

Stock IC on a 215 motor? Yes you can run the X charger with stock 38's but NO external IC, only the OEM IC. You will need the 42's with an external IC
