    rectifier

this may be a dumb question but i am still learning about it. what exactly is the rectifier? like what is its purpose? and another is where can i find the dimesnions of the mounting bracket since i took the stock air intake outi need to put it somewhere else. i think riva sells one for $25 but if anyone has the dimensions for it im going to see if my dads work can build one for me and if it works i may be able to get some more built for those who need them!

It turns the AC (Alternating) current (like what is in your house) from the stator into DC (Direct) current (all batteries are DC) that will charge the battery and run all the electronics.

the rectifier/voltage regulator is there to turn ac voltage from the stator to dc voltage. The voltage regulator portion is just that, a vlotage regulator.

As far as your other questions, I'm not much help there.

All you need is a metal brake to make that part.
Maybe someone has theirs out so they can post a picture??

all you need is a bracket that will be the exact size of the rectifier so u can bolt it to the backet.... then bend the bracket 45 degree anlgle then back it back to be flat again...
