    2006 Seadoo RXP Impeller?

Hey guys (and girls), I am looking to replace the impeller on my 2006 RXP and avoid any mods//pitching (if possible). What is the best impeller to get?? I see good things about Solas 14/19R from what I am reading. I am looking to increase its acceleration, not so worried about top speed as it gets to 65-67 in low chop ATM.

The guy that I got the RXP from said that it is running at 260HP and not at the 215HP that it came with originally so it is possible that upgrades have been done. It does reach 8200RPM on its stock impeller currently. I will know for sure what is in it when I take out the blower for a rebuild in a month or two.

I would like to avoid any further mods//pitching due to addition costs. Thank you for your time/help.

Welcome new member! I think solas srx-cd 14/19 will be good. But will be better if you changing your supercharger to 255hp 137mm. supercharger.

I believe that is the SC it has now, according to the guy that sold it. He's a family friend so probably not lying. I raced the same ski's and mine definitely won but like I said, I'll know for sure when I pull it for a rebuild.

Any easy way to check if it is the Solas one without taking the pump out?

No easy way to check, you need pull out your pump.

Alright, I'll pull it. BTW:Any ideas if switching to the riva intake grate will improve acceleration?

ALSO: I am reading that the Riva grate destroys hook up in "rougher" water. I ride in salt and it is light chop most of the time. I don't even put the ski in if its REALLY choppy so medium-heavy chop wont be an issue.

id go with a R&d grate... you can shine a light through the intake grate into the pump area and take a pic.. won't know exactly if it's a 14/19.. but you will know if it's a solas or stock impeller for sure.

If you're hitting 8200 now...you're all over you rev limiter...which means...in the heat, somethings prolly been done to that ski. An xwheel on an rxp would require a 15/20. You should break out your wrenches and get some dirt on those knuckles. Learn your ski. Pull the sc...check it out...check your prop...is it oem?...already a 14/19?

You're asking questions that need a base of info to steer you in the right direction.

I'll try to pull the SC tomorrow and check the impeller. If I do have the 250HP SC, do I need to mess with reflashing ECU to let the RPM's go higher? $950 for the vtech to get an extra 200-300RPM?
