    Blew up my ski FYI

    This was at the Havasu finials on Saturday
    Use seal swiller additive in your motor oil ever , my tops valve stuck open, the oil poured out And into the intake, thur the s.c. Out the exhaust ,
    2 minutes wot , and my oil was gone and # 2cyc Melted

    Ok? so DON"T use a Seal conditioner additive in the oil instead of "USE" as you posted....IMO These motors are too finicky and high revving for crap like that in the oil. So now instead of repairing a low cost seal/gasket you now have a $3500 repair... That's a hard lesson ma'man

    Sounds like it pressurized the crankcase and pushed it all through the intake no?

    That sounds right , and my fix is old piston and new gaskets . Its only 130.00 for gaskets , motor assembly is easy . Ill have it back in the water by 11-14 .but your right expensive lesson .

    AS I Quoted in the first post , ill have ti back togather by 11-14
    Whats today ,,,,, lol
    total cost .
    116.00 gaskets
    265.00 pistons and rings
    65.00 oil an plugs
    5 hrs labor ..

    Hmm, I don't know if not knowing would be good enough for me. I'd at least put a catch can in. That way at least it doesn't pump it back through the intake.
